Hawks Win Again and Advance to 3 and 0

The Hawks continued their winning ways Friday night in Phillips Arena in front of their home fans.  Jeff Teague and Joe Johnson led the way with 22 and 21 points respectively.  Teague and Johnson carried the Hawks to a 105-98 win over the New Jersey Nets.  The Hawks are now 3-0 on the young season.  This is a very exciting start for the Hawks and it looks like it should be an exhilarating season.  Atlanta is set to begin a three game, four night road trip Saturday with their first stop being in Houston to take on the Rockets.  This is where the lockout shortened NBA season comes into play with a lot of games in a short amount of time.  With there being a shortened season this year every game matters.  Monday and Tuesday of this coming week are certain to be tough games for the Hawks matching up against the Big 3 and the Heat on Monday in Atlanta then heading to the Windy City to face Derrick Rose and the Bulls.
